ThinkingParticles 3 is the next generation of rule-based particle systems for Autodesk’s 3ds max professional 3D modeling, rendering and animation software. When compared to an event-based particle system, which works on triggers and time dependent events, a rule-based system is free from constraints and instead applies simple behaviors.
